This is a short story and one of my Reedsy weekly prompt submission. I want to give credit to Reedsy for helping me with the theme. It was titled "My Halloween love story" but I decided to change the title to "Searching for his warmth". I also edited some parts because at Reedsy prompts every story must contain a max. of 3000 words only so I cut a few important parts. Anyway, This is a just-for-fun story so I hope you like it.

MINI STORIES - SFW!
This is just a little side thing where I challenge myself. I'm running a game on a discord server where the members give me a word of their choice and I have to create a quick mini Shadamy story on the spot based on that word. Few times there are several words combined. I have now chosen that these little stories should be shared with more people, as there are some of them that I myself enjoy or like very much. But beware, these little stories are quick rough stories, so there may be typos and grammatical errors as I don't go over them as thoroughly as my other fanfics. The title for each chapter will be the word/words the story is based on. A few of my smaller random ideas may also pop up. And more stories will come with time. The stories here are SFW!

"Please, stop," I begged, my voice cracking. Tears streamed down my face, my eyes swollen and burning. "I can't handle this anymore. Just stay away from me." His words, "Little Angel, don't say that. Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story.
