Hades and Persephone
Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. Hades struggles to win Persephone over...but perhaps Persephone has always been meant to be with him, and she wasn't an innocent as she was thought she was... Moderate explicit parts. *not finished* "Look, Persephone, you're a reasonable Goddess, more reasonable than most. You have to understand I was not born the Lord of the Underworld. The title was appointed to me because I was the unlucky one. My job is just as important as my brother's jobs. I wasn't selected because of my cruel ways but now because of the way people speak of me and fear me now I am the cruel one whether or not I like it. Do you honesty think it is fair that it should work that way? People take one look at me and assume I'm the devil." Persephone crouches back in her seat. I realize I am standing and seat myself, trying to calm myself. "Do you honestly think that being in charge of the dead and judging them makes me undeserving of love, of a wife? I'm doomed to be exiled down here. I don't even have the sun to keep me warm, Persephone. You're all the sun I have..." *This story is also not meant to be factually accurate, and is simply an interpretation of the story.Complete

One Bite ✔️ (#Wattys2017)
<Under Major Editing> One night, Hannah (Demeter) lay with the god Morpheus and when the time came, she gave birth to their daughter, Hermione (Persephone), the goddess of springtime. Draco (Hades) has been sitting in his throne room in the Underworld judging the dead and being judged by his family. One day, he had had enough and so decides to steal the one thing that everyone loved... Hermione. Do they fall in love? And if so, will war's mighty strength try to rip them apart? *Excerpt* "The irony to all of this was that neither of them was supposed to be this animalistic and passionate and yet here they are; howling at the moon, dancing around the bonfires, and making love under the stars. She was the goddess of spring time, gentle and kind, and he was the god of the underworld, silent and peaceful. Together, though, they were the king and queen of the underworld, a beautiful exodus with a beautiful beginning." Rated Mature for: language, sexual activity, violence, and a rape scene (Not Draco and Hermione). Now on Fanfiction.net and ArchiveOfOurOwnComplete
The Daughter Of The Sea God
Life is like a roller coaster. Full of ups and downs, twists and turns. It can be pretty scary at times, but exhilarating at others. Unless you're like me; then its' scary all the time. But I've gotten used to this roller coaster, and the journey is becoming familiar. A pattern. I no longer scream at sharp plummets or squeeze my eyes shut at loops. Which is why this next turn rocks me off my feet. "I wasn't ready" doesn't even begin to cover it. My name is Jessica King And I am the daughter of the sea god. **i wrote this when i was 13 so forgive the everything errorsComplete
