Catori was always thought to have been normal. Her parents and older siblings are all Gracelings. Natalie can cook. Annalina has inhuman grace. Melody is graced with the arts. Belittled her whole life, what was to make Catori think she wasn't inferior in every way to her sisters? What was to make her think that not being seen by anyone but Melody was odd? Catori is not normal. She is a Graceling. Invisibility is her grace, but to her, it's a curse.
