What do you do when you find out that your best friend has cancer on Christmas Eve?
That's what Grayson Rogers and Blaze Hughes begin to ask when they find out the reason for their best friend's moroseness on Christmas morning. It's slightly different for Grayson, though, who has had the biggest crush on her since they were kids. Now he's determined to be there for her more than ever, although she's unlikely to feel the same way for him (and has had a huge crush on his brother for as long as he can remember).

Amethyst Martin sincerely wishes someone would have answered that for her before she learns this bitter truth. Now, she has no idea how long she has left to live - and everyone wants her to act like she's okay.
