Wei Ying is missing, the sunshot campaign is struggling and on the brink of collapse. Unknown to the rest of the world, Wei Wuxian is rising again. But he's changed - his once lively demeanour and smile replaced by hatred, pain and numbness. Will they be able to save him this time round?
This is based of a mix of the novel, the live action drama (the Untamed / cql) and the Donghua. I have changed the storyline and some small character details. Also, I own none of the fan art.

Since Wangji grew up, he was taught to follow strict rules and follow them to a T. It was when he met the love of his life, Wei Ying, a flirty, and mischievous cultivator as well as head disciple of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan, that everything Lan Zhan had learned, started to be ignored little by little. Because of misunderstandings, war, and rumors, Lan Zhan had a hard time trying to get Wei Ying to sit for a moment and listen to him so he could explain. But it became too late.
