Brooklyn, New York- a place that's not kid friendly; the population is explicitly drug dealers, crack heads, crooks, killers, the homeless, gangs, rats, and less than 1% was the kids who have dreams of making it in life. Anything , you name it and Brooklyn had it.

If you were brought up by a poor family you do whatever it took to help your family out no doubt about it, you either 'Nut Up' or 'Shut Up'My Pops always says.

If you were white you were to only talk to whites, if you were Hispanic you only talk to Hispanics, if you were black you better stick to talking to blacks only cause talking or dealing with anyone who isn't would get you in a world of hurt-period.

It is also best not to trust any or everyone here, momma says back when she was my age she had no choice but to trust people but in this era she believed trusting could get you killed; cuz nowadays it seemed like the whole world is against each other.

Nothing gets handed to you and there aren't fairy tale endings, you just hope and pray that you can get your shit together to get out of the projects and make a better life for you and your family.

You don't even get a second chance at anything, if you mess up you're stuck here forever; this is just the harsh reality of how this city works.

As said plenty of times before:

    "This is Brooklyn..."
