Oliver Wood was one of the most known quidditch players at Hogwarts. He had a lot of things: Quidditch Captain badge, four amazing best friends, and girls chasing after him left and right. But the one thing he did not have, the thing he wanted so terribly, was a girl that he has had his eye on since first year. None other that the Gryffindor quidditch team chaser, and not to mention, his best friend. Michelle Smith.

Michelle Smith was a caring friend with a big heart, and would stand up for what was right. She had a great life: Four best friends who would stand by her side through anything, Parents who loved her more than anything, and an obsession for quidditch, being Gryffindor chaser. As always, there was one thing that she didn't have that she desperately wanted. None other than her Quidditch Captain and best friend. Oliver Wood.

Will they finally get what they want in their final year at Hogwarts?

ATTN: This is a story I started writing on my other account from when I was younger: mkroell_9. I was locked out of that account, and couldn't get back in to update it. I finally found my old chapters written in my three year old computer, and decided to republish! So, here you go! Enjoy!

"You're so gonna lose, Captain Oliver Wood." Marceline smirked widely, her grip on his hand was tight but not nearly as tight as the one Wood shared with Flint. It wasn't deadly, it was rather testing. She gave him a competitive glance, Marceline loved being challenged. "I disagree, Chaser Marceline Airborne." Their hands parted, he didn't know what he was getting himself into but what he did know for sure was that he was gonna win. From enemies to friends. From friends to lovers. Later she learns that she can't always depend on others and needs to first find herself. Later he learns to stop shutting out his feelings and to set the butterflies free.
