An original Batman story detailing the rise of Batman throughout his first few years, meeting his rogues gallery and solving the many mysteries of Gotham City. Read about the many technological advancements made between Batman's Second Year and his end. A mysterious figure marks Batman for death during his Second Year, and it haunts him for the rest of his career. Read about Batman's search for apprentices, selecting who will become a part of the Bat-family.
This story is a WIP, and I will add chapters as time goes on. Please tell me what I could improve upon! Enjoy!

A Darker Knight Still: The Official Guide for 'Batman: Black Mirror'
A story more than ten years in the making, this field guide takes a deep dive into my personal inspirations, designs and thoughts on creating a world within a world. From changes to legendary canon based characters, while keeping within the realm of their status, to adding another reflective image of Bruce Wayne outside of his adopted sons and even the Joker in the form of a silver haired thirteen year old assassin. At least one million ideas have passed in and through my mind when crafting this story that's still in the works. Some ideas have stayed, most have gone, forgotten among many other images and ideas swirling around my head. Character bios, variant covers that didn't work out, secret wishes and small story synopsis' sprinkled around each segment, this guide is a continuous updating project and will come to an end with the main story's final chapter.
The Batman
The first installment in Ben's Batman series. When his parents were gunned down in front of him, young Bruce Wayne resolved to rid Gotham City of the criminal element that took their lives. He trained to achieve mental and physical perfection; in addition to mastering the martial arts, detective techniques, and criminal psychology. Dressing as a bat to prey on criminals' fears, he fought crime with the aid of specialized gadgets and vehicles, operating out of the secret Batcave down below Wayne Manor. He was the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader, the...BATMAN!! This first story line brings Batman into conflict with sadistic and brutal crime lord, Black Mask. The most powerful man in the city and ruler of Gotham's criminal underworld, Black Mask has vast wealth and resources, eliminated his opposition and is consolidating his power. Upon returning to Gotham City after his training, Bruce Wayne also learns that the venomous Scarecrow is planning to use a deadly and dangerous new drug called "Vertigo" into Gotham City, spreading fear and panic throughout the population. With Scarecrow and Black Mask forming an alliance to corrupt Gotham, Bruce must use his wits to defeat them. Sick of how much money he has, Bruce decides to get rid of as much of it as he can by any means necessary. Only everything he and his beloved do seems to backfire. Is the fate of the Bat family going to rest in the hands of a simple black armoured girl with far too many secrets? Can she even help, she just left a bloody battlefield.
