Evelyn Scott was working at the mysterious Resurget Corporation - at least, she was until she was fired for no apparent reason. She doesn't think much of it until she loses all memory of working there. One name does keep coming up though: Jack Prentice. What does he want with Resurget? Why did her memory disappear right after she met him? What's with Resurget anyway? And Why does Jack have a spaceship? Honestly, the universe has never been in worse hands.

Every prototype technology has its risks. After an accident involving a novel robotic suit, Keres cadet Sky begins to have recurring lucid nightmares where she finds herself in a prison called Tartaros. Soon, one thing becomes clear: Tartaros is more than just a dream, and as the lines between reality and her subconscious begin to blur, Sky is forced to question her own perception of the world. Meanwhile, more and more mysterious accidents shake the city of Pharos to the core, threatening the safety and security of the last surviving humans on earth. Through her own accident, Sky finds herself drawn into the investigation of an enigmatic task force. The prototype technology, her dreams, a dubious doctor, a missing part of her medical files and a dark secret from her past all seem to be connected, but how? Form here on out, there's only one direction left to go: Down. _______________ Featured on Wattpad's UndiscoveredBooks profile on their "Need to Read" reading list Highest Rankings: #1 in Philosophy [17.01.2019] #8 in Mind [17.01.2019] #8 in Science [13.03.2019] #10 in Psychology [28.02.2019] #24 in Science-Fantasy [17.01.2019] #39 in Dreams [17.01.2019] The 10th Circle centers around questions about the human mind: what is it, what happens with it when we sleep and dream, what happens with it when we die, and what does it mean to be human and to have a mind in the first place. Jack and Ann have taken me on a great adventure full of mystery and incredible technology, I hope you'll join us. I know you have a lot of reading choices, but if you have space left in your literary adventure cup, please join Jack and Ann as 2021 turns into 2022, happy reading! __ The demon whispers inside Jack's mind. "They are not worthy, they are cattle, these new humans you covet. The so-called creator has betrayed you, replaced you with these organic imitations. Slaughter them all." It's funny, not in a ha-ha funny way, but a sad, my madness doesn't make sense type of way, Jack thinks, because wasn't he human? Worse still, the voice comes with impulses that are hard to resist. Violence usually ensues. That's why he joined the military. A way to channel his urges into mind-numbing physical effort and war. It works for a time. But alcohol and fighting can only carry on for so long. Finally, he realizes, his only way out is suicide. But when he opens his eyes, he's in the In-Between. The creator has other plans for him, and she won't take no for an answer. Apparently, this isn't his first life and if he doesn't free her from her prison, it won't be his last. His curse is to be reborn without end, without rest, without memory. Only madness. Now Jack is on the run from forces he doesn't understand. It's a new world. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon's voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. Come along on this action-packed thriller as Jack fights to remember who he is, tries to end an eternal war, and atone for sins he doesn't remember...yet.

At first, she thinks the scary world is nothing more than a bad dream. The war-torn Earth is unrecognizable. Black fog blocks the sun, and the oceans are dry. Even worse: the planet is inhabited by half-human, half-alien creatures dying from a mysterious disease. Horrified at the thought of spending her life here, she clings to the knowledge that there’s one man who can open the star gate to send her home. As the Naki prince who controls the star gate, Akkadi gets first choice of any human female that makes her way through the star gate. Only by breeding with purebred humans from the past can his race hope to remain immune to the disease and hopefully, develop an eventual cure. With shrinking resources and a raging battle for the human planet, dutiful, commanding Akkadi is less than thrilled at the idea of trying to figure out Mandy, a woman he views as wild with neither discipline nor respect for someone in his position. He’s ready to write her off, when she offers him something too tempting to resist: her body for the chance to convince him by any means possible to send her home. Neither intends for the arrangement to be permanent or to fall for the other. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.
