Modern Tangled AU.

I'm not an orphan, nor do I really know one, so I apologize if some of the facts are unrealistic, but the story isn't in our world anyways.

Most children hated the thought of an orphanage, due to how many times the people running the place were mean in most TV shows.  Ironically, they were actually Varian's safe haven.  Foster parents never worked out.  If they didn't end up just sending him back, he wasn't treated right.  He even had to hop from different orphanages due to this and never stayed in one place longer than six months.  He never had a stable home, life, friends, or even a family at all.

When Varian lands in Corona Rd. Home for Kids, a little light begins to shine.  However, he only begins to see just how messed up he is more and more.

The kids at the orphan home meet up at an old cafe by the home to hang out.

And Varian was cursed by Zhan Tiri since he was four or five years old. What would happened if Vigor the Visionary monkey (Demanitus) meets the heroes in the caravan before The Spire? Will Varian be free from the curse of Zhan Tiri? What will Eugene choose thru-out the adventure? His young brother, Varian the alchemist? Or his new dream to spend a long time with in Corona, Princess Rapunzel? Will there be a happily ever after all? It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? Couple of disclaimers, uh, everyone except Altair, Mia and the other characters in this story that you aren't familiar with if you've watched the show belong to Tangled: The Series. Basically, it's a really, really good spin-off of Rapunzel's time in Corona between Tangled, and Tangled Ever After. It involves plot-twists and astounding character development and a tremendous amount of heartache for a kid's show. Selina and I highly recommend it.
