One dark and cold stormy night where Lexi and Kai were having a sleepover at Kyrie's house. They were having a lot of fun together the whole time and everything went great. A few nights later a tragedy happened at Kyrie's house and Kyrie got a new family to live with since the whole tragedy. She has a little trauma about it but she never talks about her parents at all. She watches other families and never wants to go home because she feels like she doesn't belong there.
She loves her best friends and their families they treat her like as if she's one of their own and they are amazing parents to her best friends that she's happy about. Kai loves his best friends and makes sure that Kyrie and Lexi are okay all the time.
They both appreciate him for it and show him lots of support and love that he needs whenever he needs someone around. Lexi loves the whole group and was the one who came up with the idea to get matching tattoo's which they agreed to.
