Having survived as the most feared fighter in the pits for over a dozen years, her mental health has increasingly deteriorated to the point where she is constantly hearing a voice in her head telling her to break out of the stone cell she sleeps in between fights, as she had a destiny to fulfill. After blacking out when the voice finally got too loud, she wakes up on a dirt road in a land she doesn't recognize. With an uncertain future, she looks to restart her life, not knowing that events beyond her knowledge have already started to move in ways that will force her to fight for things that the fighting pits never could have prepared her for. After all, a battle for love isn't always as direct as that with a sword. Or, maybe it is?
