Sokolov

Amelia Hurst is just another run away foster kid. Traveling from the swamps of Louisiana all the way to Chicago was the easy part - but surviving the streets of the city has been difficult, that is until an older man with a crowd of men notices her shivering and half starved behind a dumpster. "Father Ivan" invites young Amelia into his home, and his life, but is cryptic in sharing his intentions. As Amelia grows into adulthood under careful supervision of Ivan, there is a dark and looming danger threatening the life she has spent years accustomed to. A mysterious and dangerous man from Ivan's past, only known as Sokolov the Butcher, emerges and turns both of their worlds upside down, taking Amelia and holding her captive in his upscale condo. With no explanation and nowhere to run, Amelia must learn to survive the Butchers life and unbury the truth that will bind her, Father Ivan, and the Sokolov the Butchers lives together- forever.
