The Elements

It has been so long since I've written an original story, so forgive me.

Seven older siblings, four aunts and uncles and her parents. They were all Fire Breathers, people who could control the fire element. Obviously, Marie would be too. On the first day of high school, they are tested for their element and suddenly Marie doesn't feel so confident. When she tests and gets Air, her best friend ditches her, her siblings can't look her in the eye and her parents barely acknowledge she exists. Having only the snarky new kid as her friend and suspicious happens at the school, Marie feels overwhelmed and doesn't know where to go, what to do, or who to trust.
