#1 in spiritual in 16/6/2019 Previously known as " My very own hijabi" Two young people finding shelter within each other from the world and its evils Jannah Mohamed is not your typical hijabi, she is an introvert, her traumatic past has turned her into the person she is today. Her senior year was supposed to be a regular year if it wasn't for a stupid bet. James Wayne is your typical filthy rich popular bully whose money and extreme good looks help him get away with everything he does. Jannah will teach him that he can't get everything he wants. What happens when two worlds collide?! Teaser " Because....because you like me, I know that you like me, but you are trying to suffocate your feelings, you are trying to bury them under the mountain of disappointments you have in your life, you are acting like you don't care, but you do care, very much actually, more than I can imagine, more than anybody can imagine, that's why you always try your best to hide it very Well, I know you care because I can see the spontanous smile that is drawn on your face once you see me, the luster in your eyes When you see me, I know this because I see myself in them, and this is the only reflection of myself that I like, that I love " he said, as tears kept playing at the corners of his eyes. I was speechless, my mind has betrayed me, I just stood there starring at him as he ran away, I couldn't even ask him to stop or come back for me, he just ran away, like a prey from a predator, and I felt guilty about it, he was my victim. High ranks: reached #12 in highschool in 12/6/2019 out of 219k #4 in nerd out of 29k #1 in spiritual in 16/6/2019 Not Cliche I promise👌, crowded with Plot twists, joyful moments and heartbreaks. Her heart was beating so fast and her stomach ached so bad. She knew this was it, this was her fate being sealed. " Zhulfah Bint Ilyas? " It would be weird to ask the Imam a question like " Hey look. There was a really nice old friend of my dad's pestering me to be his third wife and I didn't want to go to Ogbomosho and his proposal came along and everything kinda rushed from there, so does that mean I was in my sane mind when I said...yes?" Surely some level of insanity meant she wasn't sure, right? Must the question be a yes or no answer? Can't it just be a maybe? Something along the lines of ' maybe I'll marry him 'cuz my heart is kinda telling me to but my brain's answer isn't forthcoming?' Wait...does that even make any sense? " Zhulfah Bint Ilyas? " She hadn't had breakfast but she felt like she downed a whole packet of laxatives with the way her stomach danced weirdly. " Zhulfah... " " Yes! Yes! Yes! I do! I do!" She said a bit too loudly into the mic, and was instantly filled with regret. She heard her best friend chuckle lightly behind her and she wanted nothing more than to give her a good beating. She glanced over at her husband to be in a few minutes, and her face heated up when she caught him smiling amusingly. " I mean", She cleared her throat. " I do...accept him as...as..my husband." " Well, I think I'll have to speed up the event and legalize these two", The Imam joked and the whole congregation burst into laughter. Zhulfah's face warmed up several degrees, and she was so sure her face would be burnt before the end of that day with the way she was blushing to a severe degree. The Imam was still laughing, and she knew it won't look like a joke much longer if she had a scissors to his beard.

Students who no longer confined their flirting to hidden corners but now openly teased each other in the middle of the classroom, girls competing to see who had the shortest skirt, and boys walking around with their shirts wide open as if they had no idea what buttons were for... What kind of school had I ended up in?" ***Ranked 4th among the Funniest Stories on Wattpad (3.7.2023)*** Our book does not contain +18 sexual content. However, it includes romance and a bit of physical contact. Therefore, I do not recommend it to my young readers under 14 :)
