After the tragic death of her parents, Florence Fleming decides to look for her parents killers. Leaving her four best friends and her brother, she takes off on her bicycle and doesn't have any plans of returning to that small town. Along the way she befriends a boy who lets her stay at his uncle's house. The boy is more then interested in her. What happens when his uncle starts feeling the same way. Does she let them get in the way of her journey?
