Cantua or more commonly known as Hana by her friends is a meschfis, gluttonous, strong headed young woman from Peru. her mother Azucena got pregnant with her while she was seventeen causing her boyfriend to leave her and her family to abandon her because she refused to get an abortion. she was kicked out and forced to live and work in the slums right next to the Amazon that put her in constant danger. she managed to safely give birth to Hana and they lived together in the slums of the Amazon for the next ten years. Her mother working as an exotic dancer and Hana surviving the streets and being taught by the older kids. but then one day her mother fell in love with a kind man who treated her as his own. he took Hana and her mother out of the slums and to his home country of Japan where they married and became a family. Hana hasn't been even living in Japan for a week when she met a little boy with the strangest haircut and biggest mouth in the world. these two would soon become the best of friends the bitterest of rivals and eventually the best of lovers that would bring back the modern world.
