"What, you wanna go back to Earth and just hope it turns out okay? Knowing all this is out here?"

Sabrina and Scotty Devon's summer trip took them further than they could have imagined. A chance encounter on a London street led to an honest-to-God alien abduction, a rescue, and a trip to the front lines of a planetary siege. Not sure whether to trust their rescuer or the elderly king wanting them to stay as companions to his long-lost daughter, the siblings find themselves forming an unlikely family for a princess learning to control her amazing powers, along with her reluctant tutor and his even more reluctant Wayship. But an ancient cold war threatens to tear their makeshift family apart...if their journey of discovery doesn't kill them first.

Ben and Aaron Cooper's life had never been one of ease. Deserted by their mother and raised by a drunken father, they fought to survive on the Kansas farm where their father worked. Life deals them a horrendous twist when they are kidnapped by an alien trader and sold. Ben, the oldest by sixteen months, convinces the aliens who enslave them that he and Aaron will die if they are separated. It is the only way he can think of to keep them together and protect his younger brother. The next fifteen years prove to be the most challenging of their lives. They do what they have to in order to survive. They are convinced their time has come to an end when the freighter they are on is attacked by a species known for their lust for blood and killing. Evetta and Hanine Marquette are Marastin Dow; a species whose leaders thrive on living in the old ways where only the strongest, most ruthless are allowed to live. The life expectancy for most Marastin Dow is short, especially on one of the warships that all Marastin Dow, male or female, are expected to serve a mandatory service. Advancement usually comes by murder. Evetta and Hanine want a different life and work together to stay alive in the hopes of finding a life away from the constant threat of death. Life changes for them when they encounter two strange and unusual alien males. When the males' lives are endangered, there is only one thing these warrior women can do to save them... run!

9 parts Complete

Willa stayed in her bed when a spaceship landed near her home and the interstellar invaders she calls Ironhides abducted children from her neighborhood--her sister among them. Now, along with her best friend, Isaiah, Willa will risk a journey to the Earth colony on the planet Nexpernon to bring her sister home. He has no name, only a rank, Fifth. He's been kept in the dark about most details of his mission. But a few directives hum in his mind: take all essence of joy the humans have in them, and then leave them where they fall. His job is to protect his Commander, and to ensure the portal his kind uses to get to Earth remains a secret forever. Thrown together in a vehement, unfamiliar situation, Willa and Fifth should hate and fear each other. But when Willa kills his Commander and Fifth deserts his unit, their survival depends on trusting one another. And their ability to work together might be the only hope to restore joy to all of humanity.
