Something in me shattered when his dull, empty eyes met mine.

"Why?" I choked on the tears that just wouldn't stop running down my cheeks.

"Because there's nothing left to live for."

The war is over, Voldemort has been killed. Harry and his friends come back to Hogwarts for their eighth year, the first and hopefully the last eighth year in Hogwarts' history. The school has been repaired during the summer break, everything can finally go back to normal.

Can it? No, because some things have been changed, destroyed beyond repair. Hell, some people have been destroyed beyond repair. The Boy Who Lived is one of them.

Blaming himself for every single death, for every single person who will never come back, Harry isn't The Boy Who Lived anymore - he is now The Boy Who Does Not Want To Live.

But luckily he is not the only one who changed.
