Matthew is eighteen. He lives in a shitty town in Pennsylvania. He doesn't have the best childhood, but doesn't everybody? He lives by himself. With his five kids. Mother? No.
When he was fourteen, he was walking home from school. He still lived with his parents. Not in the worst part, but not in the good part of Pennsylvania. He walked passed an alley way - nothing new - he felt a tug on his right hand dragging him into the dark path, hidden from on looking eyes. He looked up scared out of his mind, and saw a women, she looked stunning with the little light provided. Her skinned looked a little bit darker than his own beautiful caramel skin. Her hair was in freshly done box braids, with her hand still tugging his. He didn't know what was happening, all you could hear was the fast paced steps form them walking further down the alley, and Mattie's harsh intakes of air.
That was the first time it happened. Almost right after his thirteenth birthday.
He cried when his parents kicked him out nine months after it happened the first time.
It happened every year after. So close to right after his birthday. He didn't know why this was happening to him specifically. He didn't know how this random ass girl kept finding him. He wanted to die. But he couldn't. He had his kids.
What if one day somebody saved him?
