Shifters.

Just one word, and eight letters, but a misunderstood word. What do you think of when you hear the word 'shifter'? Most likely a werewolf, maybe a werepanther if you ever read any books by Jan Gordan. I'll let you in on a little secret:

That's one of the many questions that Ashli has when she woke up in a room filled with faces she didn't know. She's told she survived the Four Trials and is now a Shifter Initiate. But Ashli still thinks she is a normal fifteen year old human girl. What are the Four Trials? What is a Shifter? And will someone please tell her why the hell an enemy species wants her so bad?
