Akihiko Jones is a normal 17 year old high school student. She does have certain abnormal characteristics about her that cause a mountain of stress to her life. Between the school yard bullying and the very harmful experiences she has at home, most of her time is spent trying to avoid the masses and survive.
This year feels no different except for the fact that at the end she can finally graduate and be rid of her family and this town forever. But as the year passes things slowly change around her. New friends, family secret and someone just like her? With her dog Mops by her side and the Opal necklace from her deceased grandmother she will have to face the truth about her life and her existence. What will become of this? How will it effect her? What does her future hold?
