An 18 year old girl, called Ashley, has an extreme fear of the dark. when she was 16, she saw something that no one would believe unless they saw it for themselves. A shadow-like monster. the new fear of her monster made it difficult for to make and keep real friends. Will she ever get over this fear? Did she just imagine what she saw? Will she be alone for the rest of her life? Will she defeat this monster? Only time will tell.

I saw this WP on Reddit, and I had a lightbulb moment. Since the age of 14, you've noticed a monster stalking you. A few years later, you've noticed it seems very protective over you and will go through extreme measures to protect you. It's usually friendly, but it seems threatening when your childhood friend is around. I changed "Monster" to a shadow, but is it a shadow really?
