It is the story of a 14 year old girl who's father decides to join the Alamo during the Texas War for independence.

Like many others, Jolin's mind is filled with charging into battle, guns blazing, and coming out on top with strategic maneuvers. The time for foolishly imagining herself bigger is over. She's just turned fifteen, and facing the real world and all its stained glory is what she must learn to do instead. Still, she daydreams, bringing the concept of war and her naive view back to the forefront of her mind. In her blissful ignorance, obstacles pop up, threatening to damage her forever.Complete
