After Chloe Lukasiak from Dance Moms was no longer on the ALDC Junior Elite Competition Team due to being bullied by her dance teacher, the rest of the Competition Team felt that there was no point staying on the team without Chloe, because they were always together. The dancers, and their moms made a huge decision, that they would start dancing with Chloe and compete in another dance studio ——— Rivera Dance Academy, in Pittsburgh.
Because of the lack of members, Abby Lee Miller decided to bring back her Select Team, who was supposed to go against the original Junior Elite Competition Team, but lost to them at Nationals. The ALDC Junior Elite Competition Team had been replaced by the New Select Team, and would never come back.
Everything was going quite well at first, either it was the Original Team who was training at Rivera Dance Academy, or the Select Team, who was still training at ALDC. However it was just the beginning. When both teams met at a competition, they realized that they were not just two teams. They noticed that they were competitors. How would the girls react, and what would happen between the moms?
