It's the second quarter quell. Haymitch knew from the moment his name was called that he was doomed. To die in the arena. And if he won? He'd be famous. But that was impossible. Out of 48 tributes, the chances of his victory were very, very slim. Most other tributes, especially the careers, were much larger and stronger, and probably more experienced. He was a simple miner. But what if the odds were in his favor?

"And now we honour our fiftieth anniversary. As a reminder that two rebels died for each Capitol citizen, every district will be required to send twice as many tributes." Melia Cressview. Ember Cressview. Bailey Birling. Haymitch Abernathy. All from District 12. All from the Seam. All in the Hunger Games. They all see it as a death sentence. Who wouldn't? Being forced, along with forty-four other boys and girls, to fight to the death in a horrific live television event. They each have their own qualities that could help or harm their chances of survival in the arena. But what they all have in common is a steely determination that will see them through the Games as far as they can get. They won't give up. They won't be picked on. They're strong, and they'll do everything in their power to survive, no matter the odds. Highest Rank: ~#774 in Action (being an idiot, I forgot to write it down.)
