The Crowley Files
OFFICIAL DISCORD SERVER: https://discord.gg/NCn5VHTaj6 The act of archiving is, at its very core, a desperate attempt to grasp control from the unknown. To gather the fragments of insanity and stitch them into something... coherent. Understandable. Safe. The Crowley Foundation was built to be a sanctuary for such endeavors. A place where the broken, the haunted, the physically, emotionally or spiritually scarred could leave their testimonies. Stories passed on from the victim in an attempt of healing, and information passed on to us for cataloguing and preservation. I believed that, once something is written down and locked away, it loses its power. I have since come to realise that that is not the case. Today, I have hired a new Archivist. Her skepticism will serve her well. They always turn up here, eager to confront the dark corners of reality, to study it like a worm under the magnifying glass. This one is different. She wasn't my first choice, but she was the most stubborn. Quietly obsessive, she carries the kind of curiosity that borders on self-destruction. A tendency to pursue anomalies long after sound minds would have let them rest. Qualities that will make her both invaluable and dangerous to the Foundation. She doesn't ask the right questions. She asks better ones, reaching for answers that I intend to keep secret. It's never meant to be easy. I'm not entirely sure I've made the wisest decision, picking her. Though it's a situation that will resolve itself, in time. If she is wise, she will listen and adapt quickly. If she isn't so sharp, she will seek answers where they aren't. And if she is anything like the others... she will be devoured long before I have to step in. [INSPIRED BY THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES https://rustyquill.com/show/the-magnus-archives/] 🐦⬛

Falling For You
Jonathan Sims, Head Archivist of the Magnus Institute, London, has always tried to keep both feet on the ground. It's a pity, then, that the universe has other plans, and upon making a rather ill-advised decision to read one troublesome book, Jon finds his life quite literally turned upside down. Now six feet overground and one strong breeze away from deep space exploration, he'll have to reckon with the forces that rule his life -- and, ultimately, decide whether they rule him at all. But while Jon pontificates from on high, the inestimable Sasha James, Archival Assistant and unintended sleuth, is trying to discover what all this is about. Surrounded by suspicious strangers, mind-mangling manuscripts, and unexplained plumbing problems, she has plenty of places to start. She'll find out who did this, even if it means uncovering a few cults along the way. Even if she feels a strange, growing kinship with the dark. Even if her friendship with Tim is deteriorating more by the day. Fighting the forces of darkness has never been so lonely. *** In which Jon learns to let go, Sasha learns to hold tight, and hindsight is twenty-twenty -- assuming you still have eyes. Updates Wednesdays. CONTENT WARNINGS This story contains depictions of body horror, eye trauma, ritualistic mutilation, thalassophobia, and cosmic/Lovecraftian horror.

The stuff here's already filtered, chief. CHARACTERS COPYRIGHT : Cassandra Clare MALEC AU FanFiction Magnus is a lawyer and Alec is a soon-to-be-leader at SID, a detective at field solving unique and mysterious case. However, the only price Alec want is to marry her, to prove a point that he is not in love with Jace. Of course, as a friend of Lydia, Magnus won't let such illogical thing ruin Lydia. Alas, the story of Malec starts with a point to prove that Alec is not in love with Jace and ends with the process to prove how much Alec loves Magnus. All with solving some mysterious case and hitting up the court. =Teaser= "You love him. You always did." Magnus scoffs. "I'm not." Alec glared. "Oh, Alexander, please. Do you think i'm blind ?" "If i really love Jace. I. Won't. Marry. Lydia." Alec emphasize every word as if he means it. Magnus rolled his eyes. He pulls Alec's collar. "The only reason you want to marry her is because you thought that maybe the commitment will make you forget him." Magnus point his finger at Alec's chest. "You-" "And just to make yourself better, also prove it to him and to others that you got no feelings whatsoever with him. All because of that stupid one-sided love you got." Magnus smirks. "I told you i have no feelings towards Jace !" Alec throw his fist to magnus's jaw. Magnus spits some blood and then look straight at Alec in the eyes. "Lydia is my friend, in court, in life, one of my best client and prosecutor. I'm not going to let you steal her freedom. You said you don't love Jace ? Fine. Prove it, Alexander."
