One day they were living in bliss, unaware of the haunting secrets the world had to offer, and then all the sudden nothing made sense. There were monsters hiding in the shadows - monsters that were ready to change their perception of the world as they knew it.
The Blackbourne team thought that the bad guys - human bad guys - were the only threat to their family...to the love of their life. It was almost expected, but they were equipped to handle anything that came their way.
All it took was the blood of an enemy and the snap of a neck to prove them wrong. And with that realization came reality, a reality so dark that they had no choice but to call in one of the darkest of them all - Sif Mikaelson, original hybrid and twin sister to Niklaus, one of the fiercest of them all.
