A world where there was once peace, but that is now long, long gone. It has been replaced with the aftermath of a horrible war, the result having where the war ended from an earth quake that split the continent of North America into two separate pieces of land, which triggered bombs on the enemies side that turned humans into murderous monsters with brown, wrinkly skin, fuzz of hair, and razor sharp teeth that could easily go through the bone of a human. They had easily made the western half, where our protagionist has lived all her life, under complete control of them.

14 year old Autumn Basing has lived through the after math for he whole life with her father, her simple minded sister, and since she was seven, her Aunt and two cousins. The world seemed to fell apart when the unthinkable happened to Autumn...Something you'd have to read to find out.
