Whenever disaster strikes, a god of their religion strikes revenge against this mortal kingdom, Jaxon is somehow forced to cooperate with his enemy.

Jaxon Harlem is a 19 year old who was forced into the kingly position by a compromise made by the god and goddess. He was never prepared, however his subjects treated him with undying respect. Even whenever a secret leaked, King Jaxon was loved. The chosen one.

His enemy, Alice Stockingham, is in the same predicament he is. After years of her trying to take his place as king, they have to work together. They have no choice.

Alice doesn't like Jaxon, and Jaxon doesn't like Alice.  Their subjects equally despise eachother.

But two people from Alice's side have their eyes on Jaxon, and Jaxon could never be more oblivious.
