'His glossy, dark eyes searched for my own once again, not letting me rest in this never-ending chase. The maroon seas surrounded me but in a comforting way, as waves of emotion asked me a silent yet very, very loud question... are you sure?

I nodded inhaling deeply, feeling the cool air spill in and sooth my nerves as his hand moved further up into my peripheral vision. Slowly and carefully his thick fingers eased themselves around my lean neck.
