She lived like this until she was 16, unwilling to change for anything or anyone. Then Dante barreled into her life at full force, he demanded her help when he needed it and kept her close even when her help wasn't needed. He confused her to the point where she couldn't tell if he was genuine or just a shameless flirt. What will become of them? Cover art is from Visions of V. Sparda, nearly dead after fighting Mundus at the seal between Earth and Hell, finds himself saved by a widowed woman in a different reality. Seeing this world too is connected to Hell, he remains there for 20 long years after barely sealing the entrances to Hell. Finding love in each other, they marry and live happily ever- heh, just kidding. Sparda dies from the strain of his sacrifice to seal Hell, leaving the woman alone and pregnant, weakened and dying as well. Naming her stillborn son after her first husband, he breathes his first, impossible breath. In secret, she raises him alone in the woods for 5 short years. Dying with a plea to her child to run and live long, a new legend is set forth in Remnant. One forged in the flames of dark divine, blessed by the demon of death. Can this wayward son of Sparda protect those he cares about? Will he find purpose in life, never surrendering to chaos? Will he find a way to prove his worth to himself and save those he cares for, or will he just be another raging demon, born of tragedy and trauma, fueled by the echoes of blood, death, and darkness? Just a fanfic that I'll *try* not to abandon in favor of a new idea. I'll try to balance high-octane action, pseudo-slice of life, and Remnant's brand of chaos. In this AU, Hell links the DMC universe(s) with Remnant.

V(VERGIL) X ORIGINAL CHARACTER Vergil's fall from grace has always been shrouded in mystery and even more so, his time spent as V, the physical embodiment of his humanity. A night spent in passion with the woman he's loved for years unfurls some of the hidden thoughts of the few days prior to the battle with Urizen as well as reveals the hidden emotions he held for her for years. With recounting his time as V, Vergil is able to work through a lot of the feelings he had previously deemed he was unworthy to experience. Esme has been devoted to Vergil's ideals for years, blossoming from the day he saved her life from the servitude of her church. Having endured the torture of losing her life alongside of the his, whom she loves more than anything, when awakened and freed, Esme continues to dream of that very loss as a reminder of what she perceives as being incapable. Even after being reunited with him and being undyingly loved by him, Esme continues to muse about that time period amongst other mysteries. It is during Vergil's unloading, Esme is able to find what grounds her to the moment and solidify her place at his side as the strong, devoted, and loving woman she is. **This story follows Stay in the same universe. Second Son of Vergil (Discontinued)
Years after the events of DMC5, Vergil and Dante manage to escape the Underworld and seal it from anything powerful from being able to escape. The Sparda Twins make their way back to the shop, and are reunited with Nero, Trish, and Lady. Vergil sees Nero happy with Kyrie, and realizes he can't get Nero's forgiveness after what he did. So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did. He moves back with Dante and Nero, and joins the Devil May Cry Business, all while raising Y/N.Complete
