I noticed the small girl looking at me with wide expectant eyes. I jumped slightly when she spoke, making her giggle. Her small peeling laughter made me feel safe for some reason. I wasn't sure why, but i felt connected to this girl and felt the need to protect her. 
"Hi," she said, "Im Samantha, but evewy one caws me Sammy, what's your name?"
"I- um" I tried to think through what was happening and how I got here, but I kept drawing blanks, "Keith, my names Keith."
"Your haiw is pwetty Keiwf. Do you wanna pway with me?"
I looked at the small girl, Sammy, and blinked in astonishment, "Um- Yeah, ok, what are we playing?" I asked.
