"Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy."

Sang deals with abuse, neglect, and torment. She's found comfort in hating herself and fear in trusting others. What happens when she moves to Charleston? Can she find comfort in 9 new men? Will the boys be too focused on their mission to help her? Will she ever heal?

This is a story for Sang, so the boys won't be in every scene. You will read her going through life and watch as she does things she likes. I try to research things before I write them, so nothing should be made up, but I make mistakes. Some chapters will have the boys' POV, there are a lot of OC's but they are used to enhance the plot, not as self-insertion.

HAPPY ENDING!

**Uncensored cussing, Abuse, Self-harm, Self-Unaliving, and Some steamy section (No sex and stuff, but the boys imagine some things.**

This is a fanfiction of C.L. Stone's book The Academy - Ghost Bird.

The Bird That Couldn't Sing (GBFF) by tori_maye
60 parts Complete Mature
{Completed} A lost soul in a sea of anguish and confusion, Sang floats alone, and the treacherous waters around her are starting to consume her; she's beginning to sink. In fact, she's been slowly sinking further and further into those dark depths since she was a child--ever since the abuse began. Ever since her voice was stolen by her stepmother-a jealous, envious woman who wanted what Sang Sorenson had-what the evil woman hadn't: a voice like an angel. Sang's voice is gone, the only thing she ever truly cherished. And she's starting to drown in the waters that have been rising rampantly inside her chest, but can she be saved? Is there hope for a rescue boat? Can a group of nine handsome, loving, charismatic boys be the reason Sang Sorenson rises to the surface? Will they be her life jacket, or an anchor to drag her further into the profound depths below? Can the bird without a voice finally sing once again? ❤ This is an Academy fanfic. I don't own any of these characters. They are all creations of the amazing C.L. Stone, and they all belong to her. Though, you don't have to read 'The Academy' series to understand this book. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone. ❤ Warning! Be warned, there is mature content in this book (i.e. most likely sexual content, swearing, and abuse). So, if you're uncomfortable with that, then don't read this. Also, this book will get worse before it gets better. (It starts off pretty sad.) But there is a happy ending and LOTS of love! 😉😁

Soul Bonds

30 parts Complete Mature

When the world changes overnight, and Sang finds herself separated from the nine boys she loves, how can she survive until they are all reunited? I'm marking this as mature to be safe. I don't THINK I'll be getting very... mature in this, but dunno. Any chapters containing mature material will be marked. Completed on 6/21/23 Thanks to @LivelyPotter for the cover! The Ghost Bird series is owned by C. L. Stone. I own nothing. I made #1 under GabrielColeman! I'm like... special and stuff! I'm double special! #1 under LukeTaylor!
