Forgotten One: Nyx of the Shadow Rebellion (Pokemon Insurgence fanfic)

Let me take you back to the distant past of the Pokémon Universe you know. Thousands of years into the past. Phos is just an ordinary woman living in the Vesryn region (back when it was still ruled by the king it was named after.) She has a family, and they lived happily together. Until one day, a dark truth comes to light. Phos's husband Dorian was once associated with a group that followed Arceus, the Original One, and he had tried to escape from them. The extreme followers break into Phos's house and kill her entire family. Soon after, a mysterious and powerful Pokémon visits Phos in her dream and tells her what she must do. The light gone from her life, Phos becomes Nyx, the leader of the Shadow Rebellion, a group intent on taking down the ruler of the Pokémon Universe itself.
