Lennox Astrid is a sharpshooter in her home origin - an utopian world called Elysia. Orcus, her mystical and friendly sage, instinctively sensed antagonism, boredom and nihilistic moods in her and is thus a major risk of ruining her right to being a progressive and rapturous Elysian.

Meanwhile, Jim, her indelibly charming close friend, also has his own enigmatic issues acknowledged. Because of their subtle, personal problems, they are both suggested by Orcus to go through with the 'Sinkhole' procedure to undergo alleged treatment.

Cynical and vain Lennox dreads this news very much. She can't comprehend what makes herself so imperfect. She questions Orcus' ways, therefore she questions the system, therefore must she question Elysia? - The Sinkhole isn't such a difficult place to describe. It is a place where disorder and misinformation rules the majority of its inhabitants. It is a lost world, very different from Elysia.
