To Give a Demon a Change of Heart

Elleanor met him when she was 12; when her life turned upside down and fate decided to play with her heartstrings. It made her think that Death was indeed following her around, killing everything and everyone she ever considered dear to her.

What she didn't expect, however, is that Fate had indeed put Death in Elleanor's life, but with a totally different purpose - to make her experience love for the first time.
Problem is, Death does not have a heart.

And if he does, it's dead and cold inside, unable to feel give and receive ; even though he took her in and let her live in his house for several years after the horrible ordeal.
