"Y-you know I have to..." he said, not daring to look up at her.

"It's not your fault. It's never been your fault. It's always-"

"Shut up! Just shut up, ok? You're not making this any easier for either of us."

She trembled as she tried to think of something else to say that could convince him. "J-jack...? Babe?"
He slowly looked up at her. If only things had gone as planned... He pulled her in a for a kiss and they stayed liked that, deeply, for at least five minutes. Like they had in their dreams. Only this time, it was he who pulled away finally.

"I'm sorry for this..." he whispered as he pulled the trigger.
