It's very close to my heart. It was my first fanfiction EVER, and I used it as a platform to write about a great deal of insecurities in my "real" life. So, most of the stuff you read about Bao is actually about me (unsurprisingly). 2. I wrote part of it about five years ago and finished it more recently, so there is a (relatively) dramatic shift in style about halfway in. I think the first parts are ehhh but it gets really fine tuned by the end. I didn't go back and edit the earlier parts, but if you stick around the whole time, it only gets better as you go! ||Once more, thank you, to everyone who liked this, and told me so! PLEASE READ. So, this is the story that I mentioned in chapter seventy-two of my first LoK story. Alot of you seemed to like the idea, so here it is. In this story Y/N L/N grew up on the streets of Republic City as an orphan. He never knew his real parents. And for as long as he can remember he's been able to Airbend, but he doesn't know how he can. For the first seven years of his life he grew up on the streets using his Airbending to survive. His life changes when he meets Tenzin, the son of Avatar Aang and an Airbending Master. When Tenzin realises that Y/N is an Airbender and an orphan, he takes the boy back to Air Temple Island to train him as an Airbender. He and his wife, Pema also decide to adopt Y/N as their son. The young boy goes on to be an older brother to Tenzin's two daughters, Jinora and Ikki and his son, Meelo. Y/N advances very fast in his Airbending training and after five years of training Tenzin makes Y/N an Airbending Master. Y/N starts uses his Airbending to help the people of Republic City in secret. One day his life changes when Avatar Korra comes to Republic City in order to be trained in Airbending by Tenzin. Y/N helps her train and the two of them along with their three friends Mako, Bolin and Asami form the new Team Avatar in order to stop The Equalist's and their leader Amon.
