A girl who is silently suffering from depression lives a normal life in a little town in England. She has plenty of friends and a loving family but still struggles to get through the day before breaking down. She has one comfort in life though, books. Books help her but she still feels like she is going to live a lonely life where after she is gone nobody will know or remember her name. She longs for the glamorous life of a Broadway Star, the life of a celebrity where she can't leave the house because to many people know her name. She knows this is a child's dream but refuses to let go of her main ambition. To write stories. Stories that manage to stay with you wherever you go, stories that change your perspective, stories that change the world. When she reads she forgets her lonely life and is transported into another world, a world where she attends a school of magic, a world where she travels to OZ, a world where she is special. Once day when she visits her local book emporium she picks up an interesting looking book. A book which the shop owner Mr Bellevue says is second hand but it looks a lot older than that. The girl reads the book and get transported into another world, a world where she has to stay until she stops turning the pages and the story ends. When the story ends she can return home, but what if she doesn't want to in the end? Feel free to leave feedback in the comments Began 15th November Cover by @mermaids

He was the bastard prince no one wanted. She was the bard girl who gave him her heart. Now he's king- and the first thing he did was outlaw stories. Lyra Lightfoot once believed in fairy tales. She believed in love, in music, in Cyril Abecassis- the second-born prince with ink-stained fingers and a wounded heart. But power changes people, and Cyril didn't just take the throne of Xena; he's begun to destroy everything they once held dear. Authors are vanishing. Magic is hunted. A boy is burned for reading a book. And Lyra? She's running for her life with Arthur, a battle-scarred magician whose heart bleeds ink and fire. But Cyril is not done with her-not by a long shot. Because beneath his cruelty is a secret only she knows, a monstrous truth wrapped in soft promises and broken wrists. To save the kingdom, Lyra must dig through the ruins of the boy she loved and decide whether he can still be saved-or if she must become the villain in their story. A haunting tale of forbidden magic, fractured love, and the cost of telling the truth shows humanity at its lowest point- and how far one could go for a lost soul.
