Ever since Vivianne's husband, Baron Benjamin Fairmound, passed away she has mantled the duties of an acting Baroness. With vigour and a seemingly unending fountain of ideas and inventions Vivianne has made the small barony flourish, much to her surroundings surprise. But what no one knew was that Vivianne was actually living her second life.
With her experience from Europe in the 21st century, Vivianne was determined to do her best in order to increase the living standard for commoners and nobles alike. Due to a chance meeting she was suddenly thrown into a conflict regarding the inheritance of a duchy, and Vivianne now finds herself being dragged back and forth across the empire and getting to know both new friends and enemies. What will this do to all her plans, and will she even be able to get out of all this unscathed? And on top of everything else there is unrest brewing in a recently annexed province, while Vivianne does everything she can to stay independent in a world that reveres the duality between man and woman above all else!
Despite Vivianne's wish to live quietly and comfortably, she now has to roll up her sleeves and use every trick and shortcut that she can remember, from both this life and her previous one, in order to solve problems that she hadn't even dreamed of getting involved with.

Author's comment:
This is my first book ever written, and I started out with a wish to write something entertaining and light-hearted, all the while having a mentality of "hold my beer!" I will update with a new chapter every day, mon-fri, and I hope that you will enjoy Vivianne's escapades as much as I and my friend (and muse and general feed-back supporter) Alina has!
