The fate of Sugawara [name] was a sad one to the Sugawara family. [Name] was a rising star in the art field but that all came crashing down during a car accident in his first year of Karasuno that left him in a comatose state.

That left many "fans" of his work depressed but that couldn't compare to what his family's feeling. Koushi was absolutely devastated to hear the news about his little brother. He blamed himself. He should've been there to protect him. That's what an older brother does.
