After getting married and settling down in the Southern Water Tribe for 3 years Katara and Aang finally feel its ready to move to Republic City and start their family. These are stories(My Headcannons) for their lives in Republic City.
(Keep in mind this is just my Avatar brain wanting to write these down. Its sometimes hard to read, and sometimes has bad grammar and Im honestly just gonna write these and not even rereading them. So enjoy!)

Heimat: a place that you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland A decade has passed after the final battle between the Avatar and the Fire Nation, a decade after the defeat of their Fire Lord. It is a time of prosperity for most, but the crimes commited during the war couldn't be reversed. Benders were taken away from their families, people were slaughtered, their belongings, homes and land taken away. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. NOTE: Any characters that do not appear in Avatar: The Last Airbender belong to me. The atla universe belongs to the creators.Complete

Although it would be nice if her father visited often,but hey,you can't win em all. But when her childhood friend,Aang, returns to city for the summer... Katara was starting to question if she truly didn't need anything else in her life. 🌹 My writing skills progresses with the book,so please don't give up on it. I had thought of re writing it but decided against, cause it shows how much I've grown as a writer. Still plenty of room to develop,but at least I'm better. PLEASE READ. So, this is the story that I mentioned in chapter seventy-two of my first LoK story. Alot of you seemed to like the idea, so here it is. In this story Y/N L/N grew up on the streets of Republic City as an orphan. He never knew his real parents. And for as long as he can remember he's been able to Airbend, but he doesn't know how he can. For the first seven years of his life he grew up on the streets using his Airbending to survive. His life changes when he meets Tenzin, the son of Avatar Aang and an Airbending Master. When Tenzin realises that Y/N is an Airbender and an orphan, he takes the boy back to Air Temple Island to train him as an Airbender. He and his wife, Pema also decide to adopt Y/N as their son. The young boy goes on to be an older brother to Tenzin's two daughters, Jinora and Ikki and his son, Meelo. Y/N advances very fast in his Airbending training and after five years of training Tenzin makes Y/N an Airbending Master. Y/N starts uses his Airbending to help the people of Republic City in secret. One day his life changes when Avatar Korra comes to Republic City in order to be trained in Airbending by Tenzin. Y/N helps her train and the two of them along with their three friends Mako, Bolin and Asami form the new Team Avatar in order to stop The Equalist's and their leader Amon.
