This story is about a boy named Joseph and his family escaping Pompeii. This is a short historical fiction that I made so the family may not be real, because I was not there when Vesuvius erupted 2,000 years ago! I got the important details that I worked into this story about Pompeii. Pompeii is a real town in Italy that was rediscovered and excavated between the late 1700s and today. 1/3 of Pompeii is still under ash today so that artifacts and art will be preserved for the future. If you complain about historical times, I will not listen because this is HISTORICAL FICTION which means it's based on real events. Three other cities fell to Vesuvius's pyroclastic ash clouds. That means that Vesuvius literally exploded. Anyone here have gone to the Philadelphia Franklin Institute's Pompeii Exhibit earlier in February 2014? Hope you enjoyed this book! :)

Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does. He saw a commercial about the hotel where well-redeemed sinners he going to the hotel and he saw a girl named Charlie MorningStar, and the other girl was named Vaggie. He told him about what happened and how he got here and they feel sorry for him and return day well let him stay in the hotel and tell they figure out what to do, but what he didn't know that Charlie and Vaggie and the other girls, are responsible of the portal in his house and now they're have him and they are so obsessed with him that they were never let him leave. Well, he escaped. Let's find out. The characters from Hazbin and Helluva boss is belong to Vivziepop i will maybe add videos, image, gif, etc in this book, some all the stuff I put in this book doesn't belong to me is belong to the artists. Also, there will be a grammar and I probably don't know if I could continue this story but I will promise.

A young cat, Persia, must travel across Italy to find her lost lover, Icarus, who she lost in the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79AD. She has hope he's still alive, clinging onto a note he wrote her on their final night together, though when she finds him, things aren't exactly as they seem... Quick PSA: I wrote this story from start to finish in about a month and a half, during a very busy time. It's not perfect; this is basically a first draft and in my second draft I'll be tying up many plotholes and spending much more time on it, instead of just trying to write from A-B.
