Thomas Sanders always had a small secret on him: the "sides" he shows in his videos are real, parts of his personality that live among his imaginary and are able to materialize into the real world if they so desire, fact they hide to all.
But more recently, a new side as been trying to peek out. Thomas only knows his color, but he wonders who he is. That is information only Virgil and the dark sides hold. They want to desperately tell him everything, but ignorance can be a blessing.
Around that same time, Thomas starts to regress and the sides get overwhelmed by trying to take care of him, as they are him, so the realize soon enough... 
They are going to need some help.

With a bang, the door flew open and a woman dress who was dress in black from head-to-toe. She wore a smug on her red lipstick lips and threw her hands into the air in a dramatic manner. "I'm back!" She chimed and took a step foward into the room, "Well, what'd I miss?" In the room, the tension grew as all of the emotions said her name. "Depression!" And in response, she smirked at all of them. "The one and only, kiddies." *** Thomas Sanders lives a happy life, with his Personality Traits as his guides. Logic looks at things with a mind; Morality looks at things with the heart; Princey looks at things with creativity; and Anxiety looks at things with fear and doubt. But long ago, all of the Traits hid a dark infestation in a dark, locked, forgotten room in the back of the Thomas' mind. But when Anxiety went and messed with the room, he let Her out. Now it's up to the Traits to defeat the infestation and destroy Her before she effects Thomas' outside life. But how can you defeat a virus when She's controlling the one you love?

A different take on the sides being various impulses/ways of thinking, and fusing together to form the different parts of Thomas' personality. Virgil keeps his past to himself out of fear and guilt. He may be a main side now, but was that what he was meant to be? Virgil never told the others about his existence prior to becoming a side. Would they still trust him if they knew what he did and who his friends use to be? Roman called them Dark Sides, but what are they really and how is Virgil connected to them?

Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. But with a fallout between the repressed and furious feelings eating away at Virgil and Roman, a past that had never seen the light of day, and the wrath of the dark sides ready to break all that was built, the sides have to figure out a way to save all that they have. - #3 on #sanderssides 10-15-19 - I recently got into Sanders Sides and I needed to write a story with Virgil's past ASAP, I hope you enjoy it!
