Li Fan was always a man who never had enough money. He would do anything in order to get a few coins. This was his only way and reason to live. When he was surrounded by thugs after stealing from one of them, he vowed to clean his way of earning money and finding another reason to live before being shot in the chest and finally passing away...
Li Fan did not know that he would be sent to the Underworld, and when he came across the King of the Underworld, the King said, "What a pitiful joke! I cannot bear to see someone so embarrassingly unlucky!" The King gave him instructions on how to find a better reason to live by collecting fragments of this reason, and only when Li Fan found all of the missing fragments could he see what he truly wanted when he was alive.
With that, the King sent him to a world where he began his first mission...
