My thoughts wandered to Alex. How I wished everything was like it was before. When we were dating. When everything was perfect. No problems. No drama.

We were just talking and laughing when suddenly Alex's face got serious. It seemed like he wanted to say something but was too shy to ask.
"Alex what's wrong?" I asked. "Is everything okay?"
He turned towards me shyly.
"Umm... uh..." He seemed nervous but determined to speak his mind. "Well it's just that...uh...well...I've been wanting to ask you for a while but...uh...well...it's just that...never mind."
"No! Come one please tell me." I said.I was curious about what he wanted to say because he was never a really shy person. It came as a surprise for me to hear him stutter.
He took a deep breathe. "I was...well...
wondering if you... uh...," He cleared his throat a little bit trying to quit his stuttering, "wanted to go out sometime?"He said. "Like on a date." He blushed. I couldn't help but find him adorable.
