Yui Hikari had veered off the road on her bike to avoid getting hit by a car, but her bike wheel caught on a rock and she fell. It was dark out and her knee hurt like crazy, and her phone had fallen in the road and gotten crushed by a car. Then, someone - she couldn't see their face, but their voice sounded like a male's voice - let her use his phone to call her parents. By the time her parents got her to pick her up, the boy was gone.

First, a note in her locker, a simple one: "remember me?" Then, more come, which lead her to believe that maybe the boy who saved her is closer than she thought...
