a year after the famous youtube channel unus annus was deleted a new channel called nova forte appears, this strange channel's only video was the character's unus and annus standing in front of a camera somewhere in a deep forest. They ramble nonsense talking about new lives and beginnings the video ends with the single motto playing over a black screen, Tandem initio, after being asked repeatedly about it Ethan and mark both claim that they have no idea what it is but they might know more than they let on

YouTube comedians Rhett and Link, hosts of Good Mythical Morning, have been the best of friends for over 30 years. The premise of their show is based off of science but is loosely executed through humor and fun tomfoolery. Together they compile their ideas on what to talk about on the next show, and Rhett happened to have an idea based off of lucid dreaming. Everyone who knows Rhett knows that he's more than passionate about food and wood, but they also know how enamored he is with his dreams. His idea was to try an experiment that has one of the two of them in a lucid dream on set. Link, being the doting friend that he is decided to be the guinea pig, and he managed to succeed!
