Humans. . . a creature thought to be a myth  . . .  a species thought of to be entirely made of great terror and nothing but destruction and hate!!! But what happens when a open pit mine uncovers a bunker with a couple hundred of the very same creature asleep and one of them awakening from a deep sleep!  He must prove that his species is not what Zootopia thinks: a monster! He will use his species History to prove that they had good and bad. That he will not let those who he knew and those of humanity who came before who are now 6 feet under! It's been years since the collapse. Countless lives lost, history, and cultures forgotten to the horrors we live today. As it stands now, only a fraction of the settlements survived since the start of the war against the monsters described outside the wall that protects us. 1,000 years ago, there was a great war between all the countries and nobody, not even the citizens of said country could be trusted. It was the cruelest of all the wars and you could even say that because of it everything was lost to each's arrogance. Out from the rubble of the devastation one person came forward and with their words brought together 9 people. As a collective, they were the light during such dark times and with their knowledge in multiple fields they were able to make a new standing government, one that united the people. It consisted of the ruler known as The Divine, The Counselor of Security, The Counselor of Agriculture, The Counselor of Technology, The Counselor of Education, The Counselor of History, The Counselor of Ecology, The Counselor of Health, The Counselor of Religion, and The Counselor of Economy. Together they were able to rebuild everything and although they had to restart, they never gave up and pushed forward, making the society we know now. As years went by, they got older and decided every 60 years all who turn 18 that year will have to take an exam. Then depending on their knowledge of a certain topic, they will be put into classes and be monitored for 5 years while learning the field of their choosing. With a special section for The Divine, for they had to take all the courses. The only catch would be once you had chosen what you would be studying, you could no longer change it. Anyone could take the places, gender and sexuality were not an issue. When the 5 years are up, 2 students with the highest grades from each section will be chosen, except in the case of The Divine. The work load to support an entire country can be hard on one person so that is why they had chosen to pick two people so that the work was divided, they were on equal footings. This year was when the new candidates were being chosen and it was during my lifetime. Will Mia be able to get through her hardships in one piece or will it be a walk in the park?!

Humans were safe behind the wall for creatures only found in nightmares were waiting on the other side. Or at least that was what the government had always said. Although the wall was great in length it could only cover 1/3 of the earths land. Humans had peacefully lived behind the wall for over 500 years but the population was rising and there was no longer enough room to sustain everyone. Though it was forbidden unless proved with an identification Humans needed to venture outside the wall. Especially since the people of the south have been unusually going missing. Lucia Elliot decides to escape her safe little haven whenever her close friend goes missing just outside the wall. When she finds this friend she ends up imprisoned guaranteeing his freedom. Lucia will have to play the game of killed or be killed in order to survive and return home. Luckily for her a certain monster is on her side.
